Lookout Tower
Wow! What a structure. This is a full-on timber frame structure with magnificent beams that pays homage to the large old-growth trees from our area that these lookout towers originally guarded from fires. With a small footprint of 22' x 26' it offers over 1450 square feet of designed living space. After passing by the ground floor parking area underneath, you enter on the second floor. There you'll find 2 bedrooms with access to open cantilevered decks and two large bathrooms. Head upstairs to the third floor and you are embraced by the building's portrayal of the lookout from its living/dining room and cantilevered deck. The kitchen includes a bar that opens to the dining area. Around the stairwell is a bath and laundry area. Head up the final flight of stairs to the sleeping loft or study/library and reading loft. This home is currently being constructed for another Mt. Hood Lifestyle Venture retreat on the Sandy River.
